A strategic urban logistics hub combining performance, access and low-carbon design.
Maple Cross Park comprises two newly built B8 logistics units providing a combined 178,000 sq ft of warehouse and office accommodation near to Junction 17 of the M25 in Rickmansworth. Delivered for Barwood Capital, the project reflects a long-standing relationship supporting high-quality logistics development across the UK.
C4 Projects provided Architectural Services, Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying, ensuring coordinated delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
The buildings target BREEAM Very Good and incorporate low-carbon technologies including photovoltaic panels, EV charging, high-level water efficiency measures and 15% roof lights. Delivery has required careful coordination of site constraints, including diversion of a pressurised foul sewer and engagement with the local water authority due to aquifer conditions. Section 278 highway works further enhance access and capacity along the A412 Denham Way.
