The Centurion Way masterplan proposes 95 homes across land in both Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester on the north-eastern edge of Middlewich.

Designed in accordance with Building for Life 12 guidance, the scheme embeds placemaking, sustainability and landscape as core principles. A mix of one- to four-bedroom homes is provided at varied densities, including 30% affordable housing.

Active frontages, legible routes and connected green spaces are linked by winding footpaths, promoting passive surveillance and encouraging everyday interaction.

Existing hedgerows and landscape features are retained wherever possible, supplemented by new planting and boundary buffers. This landscape-led strategy helps integrate the development into its setting while enhancing biodiversity and amenity value. The result is a balanced residential neighbourhood that supports long-term community use while responding sensitively to its semi-rural context.
